Josep Colom, recital.
The Santander International Competition celebrates its 50th anniversary with this recital by Josep Colom, an exceptional international pianist who won the First Prize of the Competition twice: in the opening edition in 1972 and in 1978. Along with Chopin’s Etudes op. 25 and Franck’s Prélude, Choral and Fugue, Colom will perform 12 of the Etudes by Hélène de Montgeroult, the professor who inaugurated the Piano Chair at the Paris Conservatoire.
